Filtering Your Database

Filtering Your Database

You can filter your database to locate almost any list of people you could ever want.

  1. Click on the ‘Tags’ tab in the menu.  When you first open this screen, the list will include all the active people in your database.
  2. In the Search field, you can type the first few letters of a person’s first or last name to quickly find any individual (just like on the People page).
  3. Use the sections on the left of the screen to filter your list using Tags, Teams, Check-ins, Contributions, Custom User-Defined Fields, and any Basic Information.

Once you filter your list, you can click the “Actions” button to print the list, apply mass updates, or communicate via text message or email.

NOTE: You can choose multiple selections to filter your list even further. If you choose multiple selections, the list will show people who have BOTH of your selections.  For example: If you choose Gender “Male” and also choose the Tag: “Small Group Leader”, the list will only show people who have both of these selections.
