Sending an Email

There are a couple ways you can send Emails through Faith Teams.  You can send instant email to an individual or a group through the Tags screen.  You can also schedule an email to be sent to an individual or a group through the Group Emails and Texts screen.

To send an Instant email message:

  1. Click on the ‘Tags’ tab in the menu.
  2. Filter the list by using the filtering options on the left, or by searching for a name.
  3. Check the checkbox beside the name(s) you want to send your email to.
  4. Click the “Actions” button, and select “Send an Email”.
  5. Type the Subject Line and content of the email, and click “Send Email”.
  6. Note: You cannot use Email Templates when sending through the Tags screen.

To schedule an email to go out at a later time:

  1. Click on the ‘Tools & Admin’ tab in the menu.
  2. Click “Group Emails and Texts”.
  3. Click “Send Group Email or Texts”.
  4. Click the checkbox beside the Email Template you want to use.
  5. Click “Step 2: Select Recipients.
  6. Use the Search box or the filtering options to find the people you want, and check the checkbox for each name you want to email.
  7. Click “Step 3: Schedule”.
  8. Input the details and content for the email you want to send.
  9. Choose when you would like to send this email. You can send it instantly, or schedule it to be sent at a later time.  You can also choose to send this email multiple times (up to 4) and schedule a different time for each Send.  This is helpful for sending reminders about an upcoming event, etc.
  10. Click “Save Campaign” at the bottom of the screen, and “Confirm” in the pop-up.
